Free, Ages 14 - 24

Building Beats and Art Start are coming together for a media workshop, bringing students from both programs to collaborate. Participants will rotate through radio, podcast, and talk show setups, using professional equipment to conduct interviews and create recorded content. The session will provide hands-on experience with media production, storytelling, and interview techniques.

Interview & Media Opportunities

• Open-ended interviews with Art Start participants.
  
• Frequency Society and Art Start students will rotate between different media setups:
  
  • Radio Show – Artist discussions in a studio setting.
    
  • Talk Show – Broader topics in a casual setup.
    
  • Podcast – Open conversations in an intimate space.
    
• Professional recording equipment available (cameras, mics, tripods).
  
• Media training and interview skill development.

Art Start monthly Creative Sessions are free, open to all youth & young adults (ages 14-24), and have hands-on art making opportunities, music, snacks, and socializing among fellow young creatives.
